Athletes of the Week - November 18

The Rattlers are proud to announce this week’s Players of the Week, sponsored by Cheerleaders Barber Lounge and BYZ Enterprises.

Jordan Biggar - Men's Basketball

After five years playing for the Rattlers, Jordan Biggar officially put his name in the program’s history. In his last home game, Jordan became the all-time points leader for the Medicine Hat Rattlers, with a total of 1,173 points in black and gold.

With a double-double night, Jordan made sure to help the Rattlers secure their first home win of the season. Scoring 26 points, 5 offensive rebounds, and 12 defensive rebounds, Biggar also brought some excitement to the fans with a dunk in the last possession of the game to seal the Rattlers’ win.

Hailing from Toowoomba, Australia, Jordan Biggar is in his second year of Education after completing his Diploma in Business Administration last year.

Tannah McKay - Women's Volleyball

Tannah McKay is only in her first year with the Rattlers, but she is already showing how important she can be for this group. Playing on the road in Edmonton on Saturday, she turned in one of her strongest matches so far, even though the final result went Concordia’s way, 3-1.

Tannah finished the night with 13 kills on 32 swings, adding 7 digs and ending with 13 points while hitting .250. She was steady throughout the match and played a big part in the third set, where the Rattlers took a 25-18 win to keep themselves in it.

From Pilot Butte, SK, McKay is in her first year of General Studies and continues to settle into the lineup as the season moves along.
