On a beautiful, sunny fall day, the SAIT Trojans men's soccer team travelled down the #1 Highway to play the Medicine Hat College Rattlers on the MHC Pitch. The Trojans took the lead in the 11th minute on a goal by Matteo Zanin. By the time the first half was over, Zanin had two more goals, one assist and the Trojans had a comanding 5-0 lead. Matthew Monaghan added a sixth goal in the second half to make it a 6-0 final. SAIT was led by Zanin with 3 goals and an assist, Monaghan, Nicholas Gonzalez and Eduardo Filho from the penalty spot also scored. SAIT outshot the host Rattlers by a 32-1 margin with 17 being on target. The player of the game for SAIT was #9 Matteo Zanin while Goal Keeper Ross Wilder, who stood on his head the entire game, was named player of the game for the Rattlers.
